The OCE fog cannon was developed to control dust generated during Quarrying operations and bulk material handling in shipping ports. It achieves this by throwing out a 40metre fine mist over the work area and as the mist falls it carries the dust with it. The fog cannon rotates through 300° and all functions are controlled by remote control. A mobile unit is also available that can be towed behind a work vehicle to different areas or to another site. This unit not only transports the fog cannon but also carries water so the fog cannon can work for up to 2 hours in areas where a water supply is unavailable.
